The Aptly-Named Encore - A Restaurant Review

The Encore Restaurant, located at 2550 East Colfax (conveniently shoulder-to-shoulder with the Tattered Cover Book Store), is an amazing dining experience. The bar - where I placed my lovely, round posterior - had the overall look of polished silver. The drinks were phenomenal - do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a good Mojito in this town??? The bartender was pleasant and conversational; we felt as though we were chatting with a longtime friend over dinner. And that is to say nothing of the food: the menu consists of countless palate-moistening exquisites such as Telluride Jalapeno Poppers with Apple Smoked Bacon, Wood Fired Artichokes with Truffle Butter and Aioli, Mole Spice Crusted Skirt Steak with Cilantro-Lime Butter and more... just writing this is making my stomach do the mosh-pit. Long story short, it was an elegant setting, a fabulous menu, nice peeps and a taste-bud-blowing good time. I rate it at five stars. Nothing over 19 bucks in there, either. If you want a cheap good impression on a first date, this is your ticket. Grab a fifty and get a blowjob, guaranteed! It was fabulous... and, no, I will not use a pun here. Good night!
